Ireland Lacrosse will be running a men’s officiating course in Dublin on the 13th and 14th February 2015, in conjunction with the second Gameday of the Irish Lacrosse League. The course will be coordinated by international referee, Dick Pepper, and will involve both a classroom session on the Friday evening from 7-10pm at the Ballsbridge Hotel on Pembroke Road and supervised game-time on-field instruction on the Saturday (10am-3pm).
Previous experience of playing lacrosse is not necessary as Dick will explain the fundamentals of the game as part of the classroom session on the Friday evening. Any individual interested in refereeing is welcome to attend. Clubs are encouraged to send as many of their players as possible to ensure that they are in a position to meet their refereeing requirements.
The cost of the course will be €20 per participant.
