Ireland Lacrosse is pleased to announce the roster for the Men’s Éire team which will compete in the 2018 Elite/Open Men’s Festival Tournament in Israel!
The Éire team is part of the Ireland Lacrosse National Development Team programme and it is managed alongside, and as close as possible to, the Irish national team. Players for the Éire team for the Festival tournaments are selected from the pool of players who attend the relevant tryouts for a given Irish national team but are not chosen for selection to that team.
The Éire team also competes in other games and tournaments outside of the ‘festival’ tournaments – for example, the Men’s Éire team finished in 6th place at the Nick Kehoe International tournament in Manchester, UK on 5-6 May and it will also compete in the Heritage Cup in Providence, Rhode Island on 25-28 May. The Elite Open Men’s Festival will take place at the Shefayim Soccer Complex in Netanya, Israel from 13-20 July 2018.
