Men’s Indoor National Team
2015 Indoor National Team – 15.01.2015
Dublin, Ireland……Ireland Lacrosse today announced the 23 player squad that will represent Ireland in the 2015 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. The WILC will be hosted by the Iroquois Nationals at Onondaga Nation (near Syracuse), and Buffalo New York, USA 18-27 September 2015.
The 2015 Ireland National Indoor Lacrosse Team will once again be lead by Head Coach Jeff Dowling, assisted by Tom Howe and Geoff (Abe) Conn.
“After seeing the increase in talent level at our tryout camp in October from where it was 4 years ago”, says Dowling, “we are extremely encouraged about our prospects at the 2015 World Games. We had to make some tough decisions at every position and truly believe that we will be a much more balanced team than we were in 2011. Adding players like Stephen and Andrew that compete at the highest level of our sport will be a big boost for our players and we expect that the growth of the sport in Ireland will also be greatly influenced by their participation.”

Brief History
The Irish Men’s Indoor National Team has been in existence since 2007. The team has played in the following fully-sanctioned tournaments:

I am an american box player with heritage with the Muldoons from Galway. How do I go about proving my heritage for the box tryouts this fall? I had heard the tryout is around October 31st this year. If that is the case can I be emailed more information so I can get my paperwork done and get plane tickets arranged for the tryout. If I have the info I can get this worked on and schedule more workouts with a good friend of mine who is a 3 time veteran with the Iroquois team.
