Éire Junior Development Team

The Éire Junior Development team was created to introduce young players to lacrosse and to develop their skills in a fun environment.
The team is open to players between 13-20 years old, no experience required!
Training is twice a month from September to May with additional sessions in the lead up to tournaments.
Membership is €60 for the year plus Ireland Lacrosse membership.
 
Membership provides players with many opportunities:

• Train and play with senior team players
• Participate in matches against international touring teams, such as AIST and American colleges
• Compete in international competitions
• Social activities such as table quizzes and Go Quest

 
Éire has participated in the Italy Lacrosse Cup (July 2022), Limerick Lax Festival (Aug 2022) and will participate at the Schneider Cup in Germany in October 2023.

Éire develops players’ skills with the U21 National Team in mind.
This year several players from the Éire team received their first Ireland Caps in Prague at the ELF Women’s U21 Lacrosse Championship (2nd-9th July 2023) where Ireland finished in 5th place!
