The developing High Performance Strategy builds on Ireland Lacrosse’s Mission, Vision and Values to build excellence and achieve greatness, and is directly informed by and linked to the Ireland Lacrosse Organisational Strategy and the Sport Ireland High Performance Strategy 2021-2032.

Ireland Lacrosse’s High-Performance Vision
To establish Ireland Lacrosse as a globally competitive programme that consistently achieves
podium success through sustainable excellence in athlete development, coaching, and
performance support.

National High Performance System Statement of Purpose
For Irish Men’s and Women’s Senior Teams to consistently achieve medal positions at
European and World Championships while building sustainable pathways to Olympic success.

In order to continue to develop and deliver the Ireland Lacrosse High Performance Strategy, the following Key Roles will be established:

High Performance Director
National Teams Directors – Female Sector
National Teams Directors – Male Sector
Éire Programme Director

Following the appointments to the above roles, and where necessary/appropriate, recruitment and appointment will be made to the following based on the role descriptions provided here, which are informed by and directly linked to the Ireland Lacrosse High Performance Strategy:

National Team Manager(s)

Voting on the revised National Team Vision will also be available to all Ireland Lacrosse members. This vote will be preceded by a webinar.
