Description of Services

  • Memberships:
    • Membership is mandatory for any player, coach, or staff member to participate in Ireland Lacrosse events, including the Irish Lacrosse League (ILL) and National Team activities.
    • Membership System Link: Membership Portal (Payments are handled via the online registration portal).
  • National Team & Development Events:
    • Ireland Lacrosse manages the selection and training of National Teams for international competitions.
    • ID Events will be advertised on our website and social media channels and payments are handled via our Membership Portal via a direct link. Exact fees are published 3 months prior to ID events.
    • Participation in National Team Selection Events, International Tournaments and high-performance development events is by invitation only following a formal selection or tryout process. Costs associated with these events are communicated directly to selected individuals in accordance with the Ireland Lacrosse NT Athlete Financial Policy and invoiced directly via Wise or Stripe.

    • Player Fees & Invoicing: Selected athletes are responsible for costs associated with National Team participation (travel, tournament fees, etc.). Following selection to a specific selection or national team event, athletes will receive an official invoice and a secure payment link (issued from (Stripe or Wise) via email. We do not publish these costs publicly as they are specific to each invite-only event.

Éire or Heritage Events:

  • Ireland Lacrosse Organizes teams through our Heritage Program to participate in events (Heritage Cup, LAXNAI, etc.) on a periodic basis. These events are including costs information and where relevant expressions of interest or public sign up information is communicated either via our website or Team Éire social media channels.
  • Ireland Lacrosse reserves the right to make a Heritage Event invite only from time to time and in this case these events will be invoiced via Wise or Stripe.
  • Other Services:
    • Ireland Lacrosse organizes individual matchdays for the Irish Lacrosse League (ILL), coaching development clinics, and referee/umpire certification programs through our membership system and communicated on our website and relevant social channels.

Relevant Terms of Participation

To ensure a safe, fair, and transparent environment for our entire community, we have established the following guidelines. These policies outline the expectations for our members and the administrative standards we uphold to support the growth of lacrosse in Ireland. By participating in our programs, you agree to adhere to the terms detailed below.


Terms & Conditions

  • Eligibility: To ensure the safety and insurance coverage of all participants, all individuals must be registered members of Ireland Lacrosse in good standing to attend or participate in sanctioned events.
  • Conduct: Integrity and respect are core to our sport. All members, coaches, and players are required to adhere strictly to the Ireland Lacrosse Code of Conduct and our Social Media Policy. High standards of sportsmanship are expected at all times, both on and off the field. Additionally, National Team Coaches and Staff must read and sign the NT Staff Safety, Welfare, and Integrity Policy. National Team Athletes are also required to sign a Athlete Commitment and Accountability Declaration prior to participation at any Championship Event or Qualifier.
  • Data Usage: Your privacy is a priority. Personal data is collected solely for the purposes of membership management, ensuring health and safety during events, and essential communication regarding Ireland Lacrosse activities. All data processing is handled in strict compliance with GDPR.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Memberships: Membership fees are vital for the operational support of the sport and are generally non-refundable once the season has officially commenced. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the board for documented exceptional circumstances.
  • Events & National Teams: Financial Responsibility: In the event that a refund is issued for a National Team event, the recipient is responsible for any bank charges or currency exchange differences incurred during the transaction.

Delivery Policy

  • Digital Services: Ireland Lacrosse operates primarily through digital communication. Confirmation of membership and invitations to specific events or trials are delivered via email immediately following successful registration or selection. Please ensure your contact information remains up to date to receive these communications.

Purchase/Request Mechanism

  • Public Offerings: Users can purchase memberships directly through the Membership Portal.
  • Private Events: For National Team and invitation-only events, selected athletes will receive a private invitation via email containing a direct payment link to fulfill their player fees.
