The opening gameday of the ILL was a resounding success, with up to 60 men’s players and 35 women’s players from the 4 clubs. A local Galway audience was treated to a great day of lacrosse with the two opening games, coming down to last minute scores leaving UCD and Galway with their opening wins of the ILL 2009-10.
Congrats to all involved, especially the NUI Galway Lacrosse club who organised the fields and player’s party. Also a huge thanks goes out to all players that refereed over the day.
