UntitledOn Friday January 24th, Members of the Board of Directors of the Irish Lacrosse Foundation John Cavanaugh, Tom Prior and Dick Pepper traveled to Dublin for the first ILL Gameday of the 2014 season.

Following on from the session the new referees took to the field for the opening weekend of the ILL. Under the tutelage of RIC Pepper all referees got a masterclass in on-field officiating from one of the games best.

Special Ireland Lacrosse thanks to Dick Pepper and all the new referees who are due to sit their exams on February 4th.

National Team Session

Ireland’s Senior Men’s Head Coach Tom Prior was on hand for the opening weekend along with National Teams Director John Cavanaugh to do some logistical work with the National Team players but more importantly, impart skills knowledge and tactical knowledge to development and national team players looking to improve their knowledge of the game.

Coach prior went through offensive concepts, defensive structure, some basic play, and more. It was a very enlightening afternoon for all that attended and great to see so many people learning from Coach Priors experiences.

Thanks to Dick, John, and Coach Prior for making the trip over and being apart of the opening weekend of the ILL.
