Irish Men’s Development Team heads to Manchester

This weekend, Team Éire (the Irish Field Development Team) heads to Manchester to take part in its first ever British National Championships. Originally expected to take part in a number of international friendlies running along side the tournament. Unforeseen circumstances now see the Irish development squad taking part in the full event along with friendlies against Denmark, English u19, and Wales U19s.

The Irish squad is comprised this year of a number of Irish Senior internationals, Irish U19s, and a number of players on the development track for future Irish National team programs. The team will be coached this weekend by Senior National team Assistant Coach Rich Carter and Doug Shanahan.
