Irish Men’s U19 Team finishes in 7th place at World Championships debut!


The Irish Men’s U19 Team made history as the first Irish under-age team when it made its debut at the 2016 FIL Men’s World U19 Championships in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, which took place from 7-16 July 2016.  The Irish team finished in 7th place, with 4 wins and 2 losses, out of a total of 14 teams.

We’re already looking forward to the next iteration of this event, as the 2020 FIL Men’s World U19 Championships will be hosted by Ireland Lacrosse at the University of Limerick from 9-18 July 2020!  Check out the event website at for further details!
