The 2017 National Indoor Team is happy to announce that the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League, will be the 2017 team’s European Box Lacrosse Championships ‘Player of the Game’ sponsor.
After each game of the 2017 European Box Lacrosse Championships, one national team player will be awarded with a Toronto Rock ‘Player of the Game’ T-shirt which, will be circulated on Ireland Lacrosse social media including the @IrelandMLax Twitter account.
The Toronto Rock have a long a storied history of success in the National Lacrosse League winning the Champions Cup six times since joining the league in 1998 (then MILL). Over the year’s lacrosse great’s like Bob Watson, Pat Coyle, Colin Doyle, and former Czech National team coach Jim Veltman have worn the Rock jersey.
The 2017 National Indoor team is very thankful to Jamie Dawick and the Toronto Rock for their sponsorship and glad to have the Rock in their corner in Finland this summer.
