Irish Women’s Lacrosse League (IWLL)

The Irish Women’s Lacrosse League (IWLL) is divided into two seasons. The Newtownards Cup season is played in the Autumn and is Olympic format (Sixes ) The IWLL in the Spring. Both are played to World Lacrosse standards.

Currently the 2024/2025 Season will see the following teams compete:

• Dublin Lacrosse
• Cork Lacrosse
• Queens University Belfast
• Eire Lacrosse
• UCD Lacrosse
• University of Galway Lacrosse

The league welcomes pick up players at any point of the year, several teams in other locations have players that act as pick up or supplemental players until full teams in their respective locations can be formed.
