HIGHLIGHTS:

Internationally Sonny was first capped during the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships. Sonny was involved twice with Team Éire in Manchester in 2010 and the Celtic Cup in 2013. Sonny has also represented Ireland in both field and box lacrosse making his indoor debut in the 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships.

Domestically Sonny, started playing with NUI Galway in 2009/10 where he earned rookie of the year honours. During the 2012-2013 seaseon he was named NUI Galway Captain.

Moved to London in 2013, and started playing with Imperial College, London in the university league, and Hillcroft Lacrosse Club at club level.

Recently Sonny has returned from Melbourne, Australia where he has been playing for the past 2 years.

Of Note: Sonny was Ireland’s Referee at the European Championships in Amsterdam in 2012.
