Coach Chris Arnold, a native of Massapequa, NY, started his coaching career in 2002 as an Assistant Coach, and later Head Coach, at Tampa Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida where the Tigers won 3 City Championships, 3 West Florida Championships and played in the 2005 State Championships. In 2007 Coach Arnold took over as Head Coach at the University College Dublin (UCD) and served as the Offensive Coach for the Ireland Men’s National Team in 2007 & 2008 before being named Head Coach in 2009. After the Celtic Cup in 2009, Arnold accepted the job as Head Coach of the Austrian Men’s National Team based in Vienna and lead them to their first World Championship appearance in England in 2010 and again to Denver in 2014. From 2010-2016, Coach Arnold was the Head Coach at Kingwood High School in Houston, Texas. In Coach Arnold’s six seasons at KHS the Mustangs made the City Playoffs in all six years, appeared in three City Championships and advanced to the State Playoffs four times (2011,2014,2015 & 2016). In 2015 Coach Arnold was named Houston’s DI High School Coach of the Year.
In 2015 Coach Arnold was once again named the Head Coach of the Ireland Men’s National team and will lead them to the European Championships in Hungary this summer.
