Hope you’re all set for the finale of the Irish Lacrosse League this coming weekend. This has been a great season for the ILL so for out final gameday, let’s get a big crowd out from all of the clubs and finish the league with a bang! Bring as many non-lacrosse friends and family to the games. The more people we can promote the sport to, the league and it’s club will continue to grow expotentially.Men’s Lacrosse – Saturday April 2nd:
The men’s tournament will be held at the Roebuck Castle GAA field (between the Quinn School car park and the Roebuck Castle accommodations). For the guys travelling in, there is ample car parking beside the field, and the #37 bus stops beside the field (Directions from UCD gate (A) to the Roebuck Castle field (B)).
We have a long schedule to fit in over the day so ensure that your team is there at least 30 minutes before faceoff and are warmed up and ready to go by the appointed time. The final 4 ILL games will be held first:
9.30am Dublin vs UCD
10.30am Galway vs Prawns
11.30am UCD vs Trinity/Queens
12.30pm Prawns vs Dublin
10.30am Galway vs Prawns
11.30am UCD vs Trinity/Queens
12.30pm Prawns vs Dublin
In the afternoon, we will hold the finals for the inaugural Newtownards Cup:
2pm Belfast vs Galway (3rd place playoff)
3pm Prawns vs Dublin (Final)
3pm Prawns vs Dublin (Final)
It’s important that we have a big crowd here for our final gameday (and for our finals) so make sure everyone stays around for the full day. Let’s get the guys out to the support the women on Friday night, and likewise let’s get the girl’s out to support the men on Saturday.
