Please ensure that you include the name of the player-candidate in the narrative for the payment so that it can be identified. Player-candidates must also be members of Ireland Lacrosse to be eligible to tryout for the team – the online registration form and online payment facility for Ireland Lacrosse Membership is at http://www.irelandlacrosse.ie/home/?page_id=3015.
To be eligible for the Irish Lacrosse Team:

- You must be a resident of the island of Ireland (and able to provide documentary evidence of this) for a minimum of 2 years within the 5 years leading up to the start of the tournament in July 2016.
Additional detailed information regarding eligibility may be found at National Team Eligibility. No exceptions to these rules can be made, as they are set by the Irish government, the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) and the European Lacrosse Federation (ELF).
Each player-candidate is responsible for bringing their own equipment and should bring footwear suitable for playing on natural and/or artificial grass. Each player will be given a numbered, reversible Ireland Lacrosse pinney. Players are also responsible for their own transport to and from the tryout venue, and for their own meals. There are several food options on campus at UCD and nearby just off campus.
Player-candidates are responsible for their own accommodation during the tryout. Ireland Lacrosse has identified a number of recommended hotel options:
- Tara Towers Hotel (www.taratowers.com)
- Camden Court Hotel (www.camdencourthotel.com)
- Mespil Hotel (www.mespilhotel.com)
I’m highly skilled in playing and coaching box lacrosse and I’m huge into my irish heritage my great grand father came to peterborough ontario from Tipperary in 1882 so I’m not eligible to play but mutual skill set would help the team be successful. Thank you
Hi Derrick – I would suggest that you contact Sean Gibson, who is our Indoor Lacrosse Development Director. His email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Irish Men’s Senior National Team Head Coach/Assistant Coach(es) Wanted | Ireland Lacrosse
I completed my registration form for the 2016 Irish Men’s Senior National Team Tryouts about a week ago as well as emailing email@example.com but haven’t got a reply yet (not sure if my email went through). However, when I went to pay pal to pay the tryout fee, pay pal said firstname.lastname@example.org wasn’t a valid email address. Therefore, just wondering if it is possible to get a different address to pay the fee or I can send you my banking information for a bank transfer.
To whom this may concern,
I have been trying to get in touch with people because I have registered for ireland lacrosse and for the men’s national team tryouts and have not received any confirmation emails or anything. I did register before October 1st. Is there someone to let me know my registration went through and so did my payment. I was also looking for a hotel as the ones on the site are all booked. If someone could get back to me that would be great.
I just emailed you regarding your registration and other queries.
I just emailed you regarding the status of your registration for the upcoming tryouts.
