
Wrocław, Poland – The Ireland Men’s U20 National Team is poised for a competitive run at the 2024 European Championship, hosted by Poland. Pool Play begins for the Boys in Green versus Germany on Friday, 19 July prior to the official opening ceremonies of the event. However, the early start has not dampened the lads sprits ahead of the event.
Ireland will face familiar opponents throughout pool play, landing in Pool B with Germany, Latvia and Switzerland. Playoffs begin on 23 July.

The squad is lead by a stalwart staff, with extensive experience on the sidelines for Ireland. Tom Prior, Pete Dolan, Clancy Almas and Caitlin Armstrong all reprise their respective roles with the U20 team from the 2022 U21 World Championship. Prior will serve as head coach, Dolan and Almas as assistants, and Armstrong as team physio. John Cavanaugh, National Teams Director, is on the ground in Poland as the team manager.
